As a young boy, I went with my Dad on little jobs to watch and learn the business that he started in the early 1970's. As I got older, I started working with my dad, learning the ins and outs of not only the sewer business, but also how to operate the equipment. I was hooked by the age of 12.
I worked with my Dad throughout high school and would also venture out on my own after hours, doing little jobs using my Dad's equipment. I then went out and got all my licenses needed so I would have everything in place when it was time for my Dad to retire. He handed the business down to me in the late 1990's, and I took it to the next level with more opportunities to work with local water departments in the area towns. We expanded our horizons by getting into other things, such as running water mains, repairing or replacing water services, cameraing lines, repairing or replacing fire hydrants, and installing septic systems.
I have over 30 years of experience, but I stay current with this ever-changing industry by going to classes, and I always keep up with the local town requirements. Between myself, my son and my step son, we are ready to get any job done.
When I'm not on the job, I like to go fishing with my wife, go out for a nice dinner, and just relax at home with the family. We love living here and appreciate all of the local support that help us continue to be an important part of the community.
